Guillaume Valdelièvre

Guillaume qualified as a barrister in Paris in 2003, before being appointed a Lawyer for the Council of State and Court of Cassation in 2016.

He first worked in commercial litigation for the law firm Lyonnet, Bigot et Associés, before joining a firm of Council Lawyers where he remained for 11 years.

Practising in multiple fields, Guillaume has a particular interest in litigation appeals in major business law cases.

Guillaume teaches criminal law at the Institute for Training and Research run by the French National Association of Lawyers at the Council of State and the Court of Cassation (IFRAC).

For the past five years (2016–2021), he has lectured in civil procedure for law undergraduates at Paris Dauphine University.

He is a member of the scientific committee for Titre VII, the Constitutional Council’s quarterly review.

Guillaume has a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in Private Contract and Property Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University, which he obtained after his one-year postgraduate degree (Maîtrise) in Business Law and Taxation from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.

He sits on the board of directors for the association Droit & Commerce and is a member of the association Droit & Procedure, the Association of Procedure and Enforcement Lawyers (AAPPE) and National Association of Banking Lawyers (ANJB).
