Private Law Team

Aurélie Ballot-Léna

Senior Lecturer at Paris X Nanterre University.

Aurélie has a doctorate in private law and a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in business law (Paris X Nanterre University, major with merit).

Her thesis on ‘Civil liability in business law – from special rules to a common right’ was supervised by Prof. P. Dubois and published in the LGDJ Review.

With a particular interest in civil law for business, she has written numerous articles, books and contributions on commercial, company and competition law and unfair business practice.

Aurélie teaches commercial law, company law and financial law.

She runs a course on Contracts and Litigation as part of the Fundamental
Private Law Master programme at Paris X Nanterre University.

She is a member of the CEDCACE (Civil Law Centre for Business and Economic Litigation).

Aurélie joined MPV in 2007.

She handles cases on contract law, civil liability and business law (in particular company law, economic regulations law, competition law and EU law).

Laure Bonhomme-Fournier

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Laure graduated from Paris II Panthéon Assas University with Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in general private law, after obtaining her one-year postgraduate degree (Maîtrise) in private law, specialising in courtroom practice.
She has been practising as a lawyer since 1990.

Laura joined us in 1993, after a spell with the Parisian law firm Lussan.
She handles cases on civil and banking law, labour law and social security, criminal law and criminal procedure.

Marion Crocq

Lola Graglia

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Lola holds a Magistère Degree in economic activities (private and public business law) and a Master Degree in business law from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University.

She was took her oath in 2015 and joined the firm in 2019, having gained experience at several law offices in Paris. Lola handles cases on private law.

Virginie de Mecquenem

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Virginie has an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma (DESS) in procedural law and a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in intellectual property.
She worked for the courts for two years, assisting the Chief Justice of the Court of Cassation and working for the procedural law judges.
Virginie has worked at law firms across Paris, mainly in literary and artistic property and new technologies.
She took her oath in 2012.
For several years she was a Lecturer at Versailles-Saint Quentin University.

Cécile joined MPV in 2015.
She handles cases on contract law and civil liability, intellectual property law, commercial law and labour law.

Anne-Lou Randegger

Doctor in private law, qualified as « maître de conférences ».

Anne-Lou Randegger completed a thesis (PhD) under the supervision of Professor Claude Brenner: “La donation indirecte: recherches sur l’instrumentalisation de sa qualification”.

She is also a graduate of the Master 2 General Private Law (research) of Paris II Panthéon Assas University. She teaches business law at this university.

She was a judicial assistant for one year, assigned to the Paris Court of Appeal, with the magistrate in charge of criminal matters.

Michaël Rouland

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Michaël has a doctorate in private law and a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in general private law from Paris X Nanterre University.

He has been a Lecturer in Civil Law Studies at Paris X Nanterre University for six years.
Michaël has been working with Council Lawyers since 2008, and became a Barrister at the Paris Bar in 2012.
He himself has now been accredited by IFRAC to practice as a Council Lawyer and appear before the Council of State and Court of Cassation.
Previously, he served as secretary during the competitive debates for students studying for this same rank.
Michaël joined MPV in 2016.

He works across all fields of law (civil, criminal, public).
He most often handles cases in contract law and civil liability, and in all areas of business law.

Sébastien Raimond

Senior Lecturer at Paris X Nanterre University.

Sébastien obtained his doctorate in private law from Paris Est University and holds a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in literary, artistic and industrial property law, which was supervised by Prof. P. Y. Gautier at Paris II Panthéon Assas University.
His thesis on ‘Qualifying the Author’s Agreement’, supervised by Prof C. Charon and published by Litec, won the 2009 Thesis Prize from the Henri Desbois Intellectual Property Research Institute at Paris II Panthéon Assas University and the Paris Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
His research focuses on intellectual property law. He has written many articles on this subject.

Sébastien teaches intellectual property law (private law and business law to first-year Master students; digital technologies, European law and intercultural management to second-year Master students; and the law of obligations to undergraduates).
He is a member of the CEDCACE (Civil Law Centre for Business and Economic Litigation) scientific council and of the University’s Academic Council Research Commission.

He joined the firm in 2009.
For the previous two years, Sébastien worked for the First Civil Division of the Court of Cassation and before that, for the Chief Justice of the Court of Cassation (Guy Canivet) from 2005 to 2007.
He handles cases pertaining to intellectual property law, civil law, business law, company law and construction law.

Julia Vallin

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Julia has a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in private international law and international commercial law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.
She has also been accredited by IFRAC to practice as a Council Lawyer and appear before the Council of State and Court of Cassation.
Julia has been working with Council Lawyers since 2008, and joined the firm in 2018.
She handles cases in a wide range of areas. She works in civil law, criminal law and public law, especially in the audiovisual sector.

Emilia Von Bardeleben

Maître de conférences à l’Université Paris X Nanterre.

Emilia Von Bardeleben est titulaire d’un doctorat de droit privé et d’un DEA (M2) de droit privé obtenus à l’Université Paris X Nanterre.
Sa thèse, intitulée « Libertés économiques de circulation et pluralité juridique étatique : Le choix indirect de loi au sein du marché intérieur », a été rédigée sous la direction du professeur M.-N. Jobard-Bachellier.
De langue maternelle allemande, elle est également titulaire d’un diplôme d’études juridiques appliquées en droit allemand de l’Université Paris X Nanterre.
Elle a été avocat au barreau de Paris de 2008 à 2014.

Emilia Von Bardeleben est entrée au cabinet en 2010 après avoir collaboré au cabinet OX Avocats (Paris).
Elle intervient dans les dossiers posant des questions de droit du travail et de la sécurité sociale, de droit civil et de la propriété intellectuelle, de droit de la régulation économique, de droit de la concurrence, de droit de l’Union européenne, de droit international privé et de droit des transports.
