Claire Joly

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Claire has a Professional Master Degree in public economy law from Paris II Panthéon Assas University, graduated from the IDPA (Institute of Public Business Law) and took her oath in 2008.

She joined the firm in 2020 after working for ten years at a law firm specialising in public business law.

Claire works in all areas of administrative law, in particular public contract and town planning law.

Louis Lesaint

Louis has a certificate of competency in law and graduated from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University (Master in Public Litigation and Master in Property Law) as well as qualifying at the IDPA (Institute of Public Business Law).

Before joining MPV in 2021, he completed various placements with both our firm and others.

He works in all areas of public law, in particular town planning and environmental law, administrative property law.

Anne-Marie Mazetier

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

After qualifying at Sciences Po and obtaining a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in internal public law from Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne University, as well as a one-year postgraduate degree (Maîtrise) in private law from Paris V René Descartes University, Anne-Marie took her oath in 1993.
She joined MPV in 1999, after a spell working for Prof. Lemoyne de Forges, as well as for Prof. Laurent Richer and Prof. Bréchon-Moulènes.
Anne-Marie handles cases in all areas of administrative and constitutional law, such as public office, administrative liability, professional regulation disputes, administrative aspects of employment law, health law, public finance, administrative sanctions and regulations, town planning, human rights and public freedoms.
She oversaw the ‘Extra-Contractual Liability” section of the collective work on Administrative Litigation Practice published by Dalloz.

Florent Obitz

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Florent has a Master in market regulation and law from Paris Dauphine University and his certificate of competency in law.
He joined MPV in 2019 after gaining experience at the Council of State Litigation Division, an independent administrative authority and other French law firms.
Florent works in all areas of public law, in particular administrative contract law and sports law.

Michaël Rouland

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Michaël has a doctorate in private law and a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in general private law from Paris X Nanterre University.

He has been a Lecturer in Civil Law Studies at Paris X Nanterre University for six years.
Michaël has been working with Council Lawyers since 2008, and became a Barrister at the Paris Bar in 2012.
He himself has now been accredited by IFRAC to practice as a Council Lawyer and appear before the Council of State and Court of Cassation.
Previously, he served as secretary during the competitive debates for students studying for this same rank.
Michaël joined MPV in 2016.

He works across all fields of law (civil, criminal, public).
He most often handles cases in contract law and civil liability, and in all areas of business law.

Julia Vallin

Barrister at the Paris Bar.

Julia has a Postgraduate Research Diploma (DEA) in private international law and international commercial law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University.
She has also been accredited by IFRAC to practice as a Council Lawyer and appear before the Council of State and Court of Cassation.
Julia has been working with Council Lawyers since 2008, and joined the firm in 2018.
She handles cases in a wide range of areas. She works in civil law, criminal law and public law, especially in the audiovisual sector.
